A new WW2 memorial was unveiled last week at the village of Siracourt which is about an hour from the Butte by car heading in the Calais direction.
Siracourt was erased from the map by massive allied bombing where the article says 5,500 tonnes of bombs hit the village which was the site of German V1 rocket fabrication. The memorial is to the villagers and its ww2 heroes.
